Add a lead (enquiry) yourself
A lead is a possible job. Most arrive by themselves from your website form, but you can add one in a few taps when someone rings or messages you.
Click Leads in the left-hand menu.
Press New lead.
Customer: type in their name (required), plus email, phone and company if you have them. Starting from an existing customer's page fills this in for you.
Lead: give it a short subject such as
Bathroom renovation(required), then describe the job.Add the job address (where the work is), an estimated value and a priority (low, medium or high). All optional.
Press Create lead.
Adding the job address means the job shows up on your map and in route planning. See Set up maps with a free Mapbox token.
After you create it
TradeCRM reads the enquiry and gives it a score and a short summary, so you can see how promising it looks. You can then reply, send a quote or set a status. See Reply to a customer (and approve AI replies).
Your plan has a monthly lead allowance (50, 250 or 1,000 depending on the plan). It counts leads however they arrive: website form, enquiry page, the app or the assistant.
