Send a quote to your customer
When you send a quote, your customer gets an email with a link to a clean page where they can read it and say yes or no. No printing, no attachments.
A saved draft quote, and a customer with an email address.
Open the lead, then open the quote under Quotes.
Check it over. To change anything, press Edit.
Press Send to customer.
A box asks Send this quote? and shows the email address and total. Press Send quote.
Once a quote is sent, you can't edit it, so what the customer saw is what you agreed. Check it before you press Send.
What happens when you send
- The customer gets an email with a link to the quote.
- The lead moves to Quoted, and its value is set to the quote subtotal excluding VAT.
- The email shows in the lead's conversation, and any reply lands there too.
What your customer does
They open the link, read the quote, and either accept (by typing their name) or decline. They don't need an account.
Changed your mind about a draft?
